Urgent! Egg partially open!

Thanks guys i let the "photographer" get some pics(and post since i was out), she's really good, i know i'm her mum but she does well at it lol I am exhausted the stress! i have never had babies this young before.. okay well i have but they have been with mama so i am not the primary care giver, ya'know?

They are both alert and eating so this is a good sign, they are quite delicate that said i had similar with the calls, so i am taking a deep breath, we can do this. I need to see what's up with the barn nest, last night nothing, i don't know what is going on here but i know they can take a bit to hatch.

I'll keep you guys updated, i hope the barn nest does something! i am not even sure how she'll mother as she's not 1yo till Aug.

I hope so ML! i don't know, it's always touch n go with new mums as you know. Hopefully, she'll manage, i think she has 3 eggs left? so it's a small manageable clutch if they all make it.

Yes 3 would be a good starting point for a new mama and one so young. My girls going on 2 this July and she has 4 and is doing a great job. I think the key is not over whelming them. Hope you see some ducklings from her soon.
