URGENT: Help! Chick pipped through vein!

I think a chick pipped through a vein because its bleeding! What do I do?! It's URGENT

Honestly, there's nothing you CAN do. Hopefully it won't lose too much blood, and be ok. But, if not, I'm so sorry, but it is what it is.

Just cross your fingers and hope it'll be ok. It may end up needing a little bit of help if it doesn't hatch for more than 24 hours after it pipped- it could be weak from blood loss. But, don't think about helping until it's been that long- helping too soon could damage the veins further.

I've had a few bleeders, they usually come out ok. Mostly a little wobbly, but I give em some sugar water and they perk right up

Oh thank you! That's made me feel better! The bleeding has stopped and the little guy is still breathing, so I hope he hasn't lost too much blood.

Just woke up to a healthy little ball of fluff. He's all dried out and he's running around, so I put him in the brooder. He's very strong and coping perfectly!

It's a luckey little chick, 5 days early and nearly bled to death, he's a fighter!
