Urgent help! My rooster is tipping over!

Let us know how he is doing when you can, and I hope he gets better. Also make sure the vitamins contain riboflavin or B2.
I will! I got some rooster booster vitamins and electrolytes with lactobacillus which seemed to have a bit of riboflavin and other helpful nutrients for them!! :fl Hoping for my cute fluff to make it through!

1/6/2019 Update:

Harambe lives, he has lost weight due to his symptoms.

I am wondering at this point if he has Marek’s since he is under a year old and was never vaccinated since we hatched him ourselves.

He is better some days, then the next he is so poor he can not even exit the coop and I need to assist him. He is still eating & drinking and some of his up-days he even tries to mate with flock members?!

I feel at a loss for what else to do for him... I do not want to see him suffer at all, but he doesn’t really seem to be in pain. Just slow, can’t walk at times, others he is walking around and being a slower chicken.

What else could I be missing??

Unless you take him to a vet to get xrays or lab work, you may not know exactly what is going on. Even then, you may not get answers. So I would just let him decide how much he wants to get around and go outside. If he becomes totally lame, you can try the chicken sling idea mentioned earlier in the thread. If he seems to be suffering, then consider putting him down. I would probably get him some vitamin B Complex tablets, and crushe 1/4 to 1/2 tablet daily into his food. It is not a good idea to continue the vitamins with electrolytes, but the vitamins could be helpful. Sorry that he has not recovered. If you put him down eventually or he dies, it might be helpful to get a necropsy and testing for Mareks, so that you know what the problem was.

Thank you! I will continue to try the vitamins... just very heavy hearted because of COURSE he is my #1 favorite in my whole flock. But I can’t let him live life so terribly. He used to be so lively and I hate seeing him this way. Thank you again for the assistance
