Urgent help needed!!!

I have used all sorts of lights to heat my chicks. Desk lamps, shop lights, anything that would hold a 60watt lightbulb. Just make sure it's secure and your good to go. If it is a tabletop lamp, remove the lightshade and use tinfoil to direct the light into the brooder.

Okay their under a light...but one had epilipsy or sometime becuase I turtned the light on and off a few times quick to test the new bulb and it started to had a sezure and died after flipping around andhurting it's neck...

It was most likely too sick or too cold. Quail are very fragile things especially bobwhites. You have to be really prepared before buying any. I was fully prepared yet still lost some of my bobwhites.
