Hi, I have 30 duck eggs incubating in a Hovabator currently at day 21 (of 28) when about 4 days ago I experienced difficulty lowering the temp. It keeps on sneaking up to 102. I've tried turning the adjusting screw (and turning and turning) it does not reduce. Not sure what more I can do. In the meantime I bought a Little Giant and egg turner and am getting it stabilized. Question: is it a bad idea to transfer the eggs to the new environment? Would that cause more stress, (death) than continuing to futz with the old one? Any helpful guidance would be greatly appreciated.
