Shes trying not to and mostly laying down. Ut when she does get up she wobbles around
I'm sorry! It sounds uncomfortable whatever it is! Maybe a nice warmish epsom salt bath soak will help to alleviate some discomfort for her?

It doesnt look like her leg is going out to the side but it is pretty hard to get her to walk so it's hard to see but when she is standing one of her legs is normal and the other one is like laying flat... does that mean anything?I don't think I see bumblefoot, they look like nice healthy chicken toes. Is her leg going out to the side to where it could be a slipped tendon?
I accidentally STEPPED on my chicken's foot once. I felt terrible but she was limping for a couple few days and was then perfectly fine. Your chicken may have just hurt herself temporarily. I hope she recovers quickly!
Yes I thought about that about an hour ago and I gave her a warm little bath with Epsom salt for about 30 minutes and I'm currently drying her offI'm sorry! It sounds uncomfortable whatever it is! Maybe a nice warmish epsom salt bath soak will help to alleviate some discomfort for her?

Ok thanks for the advice I will definitely get her some nutridrench and see if that worksSlipped tendons can cause a leg to stick straight out, that's while I was asking. It can actually be from a vitamin deficiency. I would also offer her some Nutridrench for poultry, or if you don't have access to that then Polyvisol WITHOUT iron is a baby vitamin that also works well and can be found at most drug stores and some grocery stores. Even if that's not the problem, vitamins are usually the first thing I reach for because it will help to give them a nice boost regardless of the cause.
You're doing a great job trying to make her comfortable!

I just searched up pictures of what slipped tendons look like.. I think that's what happened to her, will it heal by itself or do I need to do something about itI hope it helps!
Ok thanks for all the help I'll post an update in a weekI've never dealt with it myself so I can't be of much help on fixing it beyond nutritional supplements. Most of the links on how to assist in these situations are for chicks and young pullets but if you can set something up for your larger chicken the care should basically be the same. The first link has a pretty good description and the second is of a post from here on BackyardChickens where someone came up with a solution to what looks similar. Good luck with your treatment!
