URGENT NEED HELP!! CHICKENS HAVE EATEN MY BRACELET :(

okay, so i was outside petting my chicken checking them out and i was wearing some bracelets. Now one of my bracelets got caught on the wire fence and broke and went all over the floor of their pen/ run. All of my chickens starting eating it. i got some of the bracelet off the floor but they had already eaten more than half, the size of the beads were only a little fatter than a long grain of rice but im really scared that it will get stuck on their systems and they will all die or get seriously sick. can someone please help me im really scared that i will lose them cause i love them so much i also think one of them may have eaten the elastic from the bracelet

They should be fine! Mine eat rocks. No joke. They pass them just fine. I hope they are okay still though

I am sure they will still do just fine. I know from experience, when one of our chickens ate a piece of metal. It must have passed through, because she never got sick from it at all or had any problems. However , just keep an eye on them just in case, as there are dangers for them if they have eaten the elastic. The beads should have no effect on them though.

thankyou so much for your help that actually gives me so much relief at first i didnt worry about it thinking they would just pass but them i thought they may get stuck bt if your chicks eat rocks and pass them just fine hahah im good hopefully. thankyou though. do you think they could get sick/die if they have eaten the elastic?

It's possible that they might get sick, but death is very unlikely. There's a danger they might choke on it.

well once i saw them eat the elastic i picked her up and checked that she was breathing properly and stuff and she seemed fine just eager to get down really. so i have my hopes up that it will be all good

I think you can safely presume then, that your chickens are all fine.
