The duckling is still alive inside the egg and the membrane is still unopened...but now i have a question...should there be alot of fluid in the egg?...because there is alot in the egg....

I think generally there would be a lot of fluid until the duckling is ready to hatch - should dry down before hatch.

I have read that clear plastic wrap works well for covering an opening in an egg shell. May be worth a try...never used it before. Hope all goes well. Good Luck!
