So my three week old chick who also happens to be sneezing just pooped this out. It's very scary looking to me. Is it abnormal? I looked at the poop pictures, but couldn't find one that looked EXACTLY like it.

I'm having a nervous breakdown at this point. I'm really considering quitting chickens.

Hi there, Caliphe.

I don't have much experience with this sort of thing, but I will say that I've seen a lot of strange poops from my chickens, some of them even looked something like this. They've all been fine. I would be a little concerned that she happens to be sneezing at the same time, but, as I said, I'm not too experienced with this stuff. But I'll give you a bump and some moral support!

I don't think that warrants a nervous breakdown or quitting chickens, just a little information.

Quite possibly you are seeing shedding of the intestinal lining. You should suspect (expect) coccidiosis. You can (should) take a stool sample to the local vet. Then you can know for certain and proceed accordingly.

Meanwhile, here are two links to information about coccidia in chickens:

Good luck to you! Let us know what you find out.

??

Are you looking for other possibilities?

If people read the thread and see the answer posted that they would give, they may not repeat the same answer as it is redundant.

Do you have other questions?

I found this link on line...pictures of good poop and bad poop. Don't give up just yet. What ever is ailing your little chick may pass soon. And what doesn't kill her, will make her immune. Last year I raised a baby Bobwhite quail with some really bloody poo and she did survive to become a very healthy adult bird. Hang tight, take care of that little one and don't give up on her

3GoodEggs provided that link in post 5. The OP seems to be looking for a different response, but hasn't yet clarified.
