Hi,

This is my first time hatching eggs...I have a hatching duckling but it might be shrinkwrapped?? I'm not sure...

What do you think?

What is your incubator humidity and what is making you think it could be shrink wrapping?
If it is, you can moisten the membrane with some coconut oil or water. With a q tip.

It's 58 rn... idk since it's my first time I'm kinda nervous and not really sure.

Also it looks like there might be a bit of blood... nothing drastic but maybe a drop?? Duckling seems to be breathing fine maybe a bit fast if anything, but overall seems ok.

58 isn't as high we'd like, especially for ducks. Have you calibrated your thermometer and hygrometer is correct on your incubator? You can increase humidity with a wet paper towel or sponge. A little blood is not worrisome.

How high is it supposed to be? It did go up a bit to 62...

What time yesterday? It can take 24 hours from pip to hatch, it takes time to absorb the yolk.
@Miss LydiaLeah, I hate to bother you but I can't recall any other duck people
I'm not sure. I no signs when I left for school in the morning but it was breaking a little of the egg when I got home around 9pm.
