URGENT!!! Wierd Poo but Acting Healthy? UPDATE: Fly maggots...

I agree.. If they haven't been dewormed, deworm them. I know alot of people discourage deworming. But it is protocal in almost all species to keep them on a deworming schedule. My horses, cattle, dogs, and cats, all get dewormed regularly, as do my chickens.

The Same exact thing happened to me. Except the maggots were in her but, literally. They were eating at her flesh, and she was still alive. :'( She was my favorite litle girl, her name was America. I loved her so, so much, but she died. Because of the maggots. We cleaned the whole feast of them out, and there was just a half-inch by inch hole in her butt. I was having a heart attack, it felt like. Later on, she seemed to be have gotten getter. But oon thr third night, she died at about 2pm, while I was at xholl. I woould make sure you do EVERYTHING to make sure your hen has none in her, so you don't have the same. It really broke me,. September 29th, 2010. </3

I would buy them some grit at the feed store, Just mix it in with there food, If they need it they will eat some of it.
