URGENT: Wry neck chicken seizures/spazzing?

i also dont know if the treat thing is related to the issue at all because none of my other chickens are showing issues. there was a bad storm the other day before this occured so maybe a limb could have hit her head or something? our chickens love to go in the woods.

Dumor is an okay feed, and I have used it when I have had wild birds eating a lot of feed. But for a few dollars more, I can feed Purina Flock Raiser or Layer feed. I have tried quite a few good brands, and my hens tend to do better on the 20% Flock Raiser with a separate container of crushed oyster shell on the side. I trust that is has better vitamins and minerals.

Chickens can suffer from seizures, as many threads here on BYC in the past have shown. If you can post a video to YouTube with a link here of her seizure-type movements, it might be helpful. Sorry I was posting when you said that you could not post a video.

I would post a video if she was doing them, but she isnt experiencing seizure-like movements anymore. as you can see in the photo, she is laying down and not moving much at all besides slight head movements and breathing, she also moves her beak ocassionaly. I will definetly switch to a better feed, thank you for your advice.

i can't post a video, but here is a photo. she isnt making much movement besides breathing and moving her head slightly
Poor thing I'm so sorry...she does not look good. I'm not sure there is anything you can do.

Thank you. My family and I have been by her side for the past few days hoping she would recover, but unfortunatley at this point, she has only gotten worse. I really like to think we have done everything we can and I think she has lived a very good life

I'm so sorry.:hugs

She just laid an egg, which makes me wonder if that was causing pain and stress. We are giving her small drops of water and she is swallowing! She also pooped before she laid an egg.

Yes...this could be part of her problem...Is the egg huge?

Well not part of the wry neck/seizure problem....but it could be the reason she looked so I'll in the photo above...if she was having serious trouble with a stuck egg.
