I have a 6 year old bantam fizzle Cochin. She has been broody since May (despite my efforts to stop her). She also has acquired mites. Tonight as I was treating her mites, I saw that her uropygial gland looked odd. It appears that there is a dark area kind of underneath it. Like maybe blood building up? I am not sure. Anyone have any idea? Or suggestions if something is wrong with her
