USA Today

I never new about this site until I saw the article in the paper!!! It's funny, my neighbor gave me the article to read when I was delivering a dozen of my chickens' eggs to him today! This is a great site and I plan to spend some time on here.

Its nice to have you here !!

Okay, this is too funny! I just got this email from one of my favorite aunts (she use to babysit me when I was young). My mother emailed my aunt a link to the USA Today story and this is what my aunt sent me:

Wow, Here I was, feeling a bit peckish and I read your mom's email about your notoriety.

I wish I had a hent of where you were going with this and i would have kept more abreast of the story beakause I thought you were just winging it and now I see it is no yolking matter. You are eggzactly the kind of success I thought you would be but who would have thought you would have come up to scratch with this great idea. I hope I don't fowl up and not get your autograph before you become too chic(k) for us poor relations. Keep up the good work and don't let it get over-easy for you.
Best of luck, you have a lot of pluck!! And you re-coop all your investments

Thanks for the link. People laugh when I say I have chickens - but are interested too. I should start a "chicken in every yard" movement. I will have DH build wonderful small coops and then sell them for small 2 - 3 hens per flock.

With all the information here, we have come up with some very easy and workable solutions like the PVC pipe feeder.

Last year at this time chickens in my backyard was just a fantasy or dream.

Now look at me. 24 hens in the backyard... and one Partridge Rock Broody with 6 Blue Wheaten Ameraucana eggs under her, shipped in from Conroy, TX by pasofinofarm!

Go figure.

I hope by Saturday I have two or three little fluffy butts under my broody.

Otherwise, I'm buying a bator... and more madness ensues!

Great Interview. Did someone set this guy up to view the coops of our members. Shoot some of those are built better than some houses I have seen some folks live in. Top notch Job Rob
