Use the nesting boxes!!

My curtain is just a length of fabric about 14" wide, long enough to go from one end to the other of the row of nests. I cut it in a fringe, about 2" wide, and leaving about 2" at the top to staple to the top of the nest box frame.

I staple square flaps over the nest opening and leave a couple inches in the middle open. I haven't had any hens confused over how to find their way into the nest.
