OSB will rot and fall apart if it gets wet. I would pass
Got some old nesting boxes from my step-dad. They have been sitting unused for at least 5 years. They are made of 1-1/4" plywood and, yes, they need a good cleaning. Hubby & I are debating whether it is worth my effort to clean them- or does he just build new ones out of new lumber
?
If I do clean them, suggestions on with what & do I treat them with anything? They've been through 2 good rainstorms so most of theis gone.

Ok.That is a perfectly fine size. My boxes are 1'x1' and between 8" to 14" tall (sloped roof).
