I was wondering this yesterday as I stood and watched all my chickens peck around the back yard..


I was out one day and found 4 small rooster tails. I took some of the fuzz from one some elmers glue and string and made myself a rear view mirror mini rooster tail

I'm fairly sure I saw a feather basket once... could be hard work though!

Cone shaped styrofoam. Stick the feathers in turned up with the larger ones at the bottom. Smallest at the top. Using a curling iron to curls the tips upwards = Christmas Tree!

That is similar, but I love the look of all the different breeds feathers naturally. I also bought really cheap stud earrings and stuck them on for ornaments.

Oh yeah! Those feather trees are pretty spendy at the stores.

You canalso make feather fountains for center pieces. Use a pinecone and stick the feathers quills in all in a bunch and use a glue gun.
