An interesting idea. But for those of us who couldn't hit the broad side of a barn 10 feet away, what would be an alternative?

A laser sight that is perfectly zeroed in.
Then if the red dot is on his head, he's dead.
Also far cheaper than the sights the OP uses.

That is why airguns can be suppressed without ATF registration.

Airguns are noisy enough to need suppressors?

Yes, unless its very weak. Many of my large caliber airguns would require hearing protection if they weren’t suppressed.

Don't you raise meat birds to feed yourself and/or your family? Or are you only raising them just for the fun of killing them? Taking their life for fun.

They're excess cockrels. Not bred for meat, but it's almost impossible to get rid of male's anymore so they end up meat birds.
