I can't believe anyone would call killing an animal fun.

I could give an example that would make you think again, but it would be inappropriate for the kiddos on this forum.

You are free to not have the same likes and preferences as me, but why do you concern yourself with what I consider fun? Do you have this urge to control and manipulate people in all aspects of life or just the internet?

Also processing an animal is so satisfying for me, whether its a domestic chicken I raised or a wild whitetail deer. Yummy, healthy, semi-free, meat!

I'm satisfied when the whole job is done, not before.

I have been on BYC for years, I am reading in this forum because I am processing some cockerels for the first time tomorrow.

I just think a gun is overkill and an excuse to shoot animals.

Actually it's a air rifle, usually not classified as a firearm.... but I agree with your point... What ever works to dispatch cleanly is good

Correct. I think there is a minority of states that classify airguns are firearms, but most states and the Federal government do not. That is why airguns can be suppressed without ATF registration. So long as a suppressor is strictly for an airgun with no intent to use on a firearm, ATF has no jurisdiction over it. ATF asserts they do have jurisdiction over airgun suppressors if the suppressor can theoretically fit a firearm but the Federal courts have told them they do not.

Far as I’m concerned they can have 5% flat of everything I make for police/fire and infrastructure. Past that.... keep your hands off and nose out of my business.
