Using a Predator Against Predators

I truly have used a predator against a predator I sealed off my barn once. all but one window. Posted my ladder up so I could reach the hay loft window. from the outside cut me a strip of chicken wire to go over that window. took my staple gun and the piece of wire and ran up the ladder and slapped a few staples into the wire covering the window. then I threw a bobcat I rescued into the barn and shut the doors. when I went to retrap my bobcat there was no animals left in that barn just some feathers. Still to this day have no idea what took place in that 48 hour time frame and dont want to know. I like to call it as the federal game ranger calls a hawk eating your chicken infront of your face. Nature taking its course. the circle of life. LOL

I have my doubt about using such methods on a continuing basis. I could be wrong but here is why I have my doubts. If you shoot a gun almost all wild animally will take to the hills right? I was at the rifle range last month. There were five people shooting rifles size range from .22 to the 30.06 I was shooting. A coon came out of the woods and walked to mid range, while we were shooting, stopped and proceeded to eat something. My conclusion was that the coon had been desensitized because it hears the sound all day long every day. I suspect the same thing would happen with recorded predator sounds/cries played continually day after day night after night. Don’t really know thought because I’m not an animal behavior expert.
