Using cartons to hatch?

What does everyone think about putting the eggs in a carton for the last 3 days to hatch? I have heard some say it is better because the eggs don't roll around while they are hatching...... Just wondering what the consensus is on this issue....

I'm doing it but this is my first hatch. I can't really say one way or another but it seemed safer to me.

I use the them all the time. They keep your bator a bit more clean and I think the chicks like sitting in them.
