Roosters don't decide sex in birds, it's the hen

Incorrect. The male has both X and Y chromosomes. The female has only X chromosomes. Thus, the ONLY way you get lots of little Roos is if his sperm have plenty of Y’s. If he is throwing half and half X to Y sperm, you should get about half and half male and female on average.

I have run my incubator a little high in temperature and a bit lower temperature. For me, if the temperature ran a little high the chicks hatched a day or two early and if the temperature was a little low, they hatched a day or two late. I saw so significant difference in the male to female ratio.

Im sorry, but this is definitely true in mammals, but not birds. Birds are designated as ZW (female) and ZZ (male).

yes, thanks for the response... id be pretty happy with 16 F and 10 male- great luck! Im always the other way around. I can get $10 a rooster MAYBE, once he is 12-14 weeks old..., but I get $10 for a day old... so I sell straight run. its just a hobby- just want to sell the ones I dont want LOL not trying to make millions on chicks. hehehehe
no one around here wants a 5 week old rooster, and feeding them to 16 weeks and selling for 5 or 10 dollars makes no sense. I'd rather eat my roosters- but we find after 18 weeks they are only good for soup or grinding.
We have eaten a 1.5 yr old rooster- but dont want to make a habit of it.

I don't make money selling my males but it sure does help with the feed costs. I raise pure (heritage) birds so I can usually get a little more for them. I do grow them out because there is no way to be certain if a male chick is going to be a good breeder. They have to develop somewhat. I usually start selling them at around 4 months if by that time I notice flaws (not to the SOP). If I have a lot of males that aren't potential good breeders for whatever reason I will let them go cheaper, around $12. per bird and if they buy several males I'll sell them for around $10. For a better bird with a better breeding potential I get around $15./$20. per bird.
