Using Flex Seal inside and out?

It says can be used to seal aquariums and animal and food safe.
My concern would not be with the product being safe for chickens to be around it. My concern is if they pecked at the walls and were able to eat any of it. I'm not sure its safe if eaten. Do chickens usually peck at wood walls?
I have used the black flex seal on a metal flower tub and it's like a thin coating of rubber. Works great. I would use the clear on the coop.
Here it is at Lowe's

I painted the flooring with the white flex seal and my chickens are pecking at it and eating it. Not sure what to even do about this...

Bummer, was the wood(?) floor new when you applied the flex seal?
Can you post some pics of where it's coming off?
@Cfsalvucci what is your climate?
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

I used the clear stuff. A gallon is around 84.00. I so far have put it on the outside of two coops and the inside floors. Did a second coat on one of the coops just because I had missed a bunch of places. Still have just under half a gallon left.
My one coop was purchased the other home made. Both look the same as the day I got it or built it.
Chickens have never bothered with the stuff.
I highly recommend. Will make those cheap made store bought coops that usually last a year last well, over a year so far and I'm guessing many years.

I use it on my roof. My roof is powder coated aluminum panels. They join together in a barrel hinge grove. Water can drip from the joint in spots. I took a can of spray flex seal and sealed the joints up. Worked very good.

For those of you who have used it, how long would you say the vapors and smell lingers? I need to spray a leak inside the coop today so I'll lock the chickens in the run. But it's cold and crappy here so they aren't going to be happy with me leaving them out very long. Is 2 hours enough to air it out with door and windows open?

Mine did not have a strong smell. I would worry more about dry time if the chickens can get too it. If they can't then the 2 hours should be long enough.

Definitely part of it they can get to but most they can't. Also, I sprayed the door frame since I was going to have the door open all day anyway and it's been sticking from swelling and clumped up PDZs. Hopefully it will dry enough to close it up before too long. I know it says 48 hr to fully cure and 24 hr to apply a second coat but if it's at least dry enough to close up the coop and let them back in, I think they will leave it alone. I hope. Most of it is near the windows where they can't get but there is a small spot near the nesting boxes where they can.
