Using home made Collidiol Silver

I have bought a kit to make my own but I am at a loss as to know once made how much do I give mixed with water

It's my understanding that what you can make yourself is weaker then store bought.
Does the kit tell you a parts per million you should expect?
Is there a reason your giving the silver?
