So I have a small pen for my baby pekin duck but was wondering if I could continue to use the incubator as a heat regulated area that is safer at night. Any thoughts or suggestions?

You probably could for a few days but it will soon outgrow it. The bigger concern is providing food and water and the droppings. It will be very difficult to clean the incubator for the next hatch. Bacteria in the incubator is a big factor in the ability to hatch eggs.

A proper brooder is not hard to set up. Ducks are pretty messy though.
I would just hang a heat lamp in it's pen. A warm spot is all it needs. The entire area doesn't need to be an elevated temperature.

Hi there!

I have a very similar question.
I have a little brooder, do you think it's a goos idea to use it as an incubator? :D

Thanks!
