Using ivermectin for maggots?

one of my hens has Flystrike and I’ve done multiple soaks on her and removed as many maggots as I can. There are some that have buried in and hard to get. I have her inside away from flies and other hens. I’ve read about using ivermectin on the site to kill remaining maggots. Has anyone ever tried or does anyone have advice? I’m a newbie and just trying to save her without causing her too much pain.
