Using my own eggs for Hatching

Any advise appreciated on how long can an egg sit in the nest box until I collect it to incubate? We are in the mid 40's today and I can't collect the eggs until later this afternoon. Does mid 40's for 7 or 8 hours do anything harmful to hatch quality?

They should be fine as long as they don't freeze.
