Using peepers (blinders) the reason?

Well, I just ordered some "pinless peepers" that clip into the nostrils. They should allow the perps to go back in with the rest of the flock and hopefully by spring when they're out and about ranging in the big hillside run (they don't go far from the covered run this time of year because we get a LOT of snow) they'll be busy and will have forgotten about the plucking. I'll take the peepers off then and see.

I’m just wondering how the peepers worked out? I’m thinking of ordering some.
