Using run stairs and egg location

I got my chickens 2 days ago and kept them in the coop for the first day and night but the second day i opened the door allowing them into the run , they however decided not to go into the run and stay in the coop , one chicken laid her egg in the nest box and the other chicken laid hers just outside, today is the third day so I carried them into the run where they seem quite content but they are not using the stairs why is this ? and also im worried they might lay their eggs in the run because they wont use the stairs to the coop so should i put them back in the coop or leave them in the run ?

Probably just give them a few more days, they will learn to go in and out of coop.
