Edit: There is only the defined spot, the flash plays tricks with the fuzz around it.

Tough one, that is the smallest head spot I've ever seen. And ONLY using the headspot makes it more tricky. I usually use the headspot combined with other clues like the coloring of the chick.

I'm going to say boy, even though it's a defined headspot. It could be the flash, but the chick looks more gray than black.
 
Looks alot like one of my roos last year and I am dang good at picking roos. Well maybe since I think its a roo its really a hen though. Wow caught in a circular chain of logic. uggg So since I think its a roo I am going to say its a hen....maybe

I posted a couple pics of mine on my post. You'll be able to see mine have huge spots in comparison but yours has alot less frosting.
