Using Tylan 50 in eyes

Eye infections are usually caused by respiratory problems unless it's an eye injury. You wouldnt use tylan for an eye injury because it is geared to clear up respiratory problems. Consider giving your bird the tylan orally, or injecting for a respiratory problem. Use a saline flush, then terramycin eye ointment or neosporin ointment (in a pinch) if it's an injury and continue as necessary until healed.
 
Yes but the crazy thing is that there never was a respiratory infection that I could tell. She did have runny poop and was lethargic (still is a little). I separated her and gave electrolytes and Tetra-Vet 10 (which apparently is "useless" according to Chicken Whisperer Vet. but it seemed to help. Just the eye infection remains now...and I don't think she's laying.
