USPS embargo on live animals (chicks) through Feb 26, 2021!

Does anyone else have a shipment of chicks next week that is now embargoed? What happens to the chicks??

I just got an email from Murray McMurray Hatchery talking about this. What is it? What does it mean? I don't have any chicks in order, but I'm just curious on what's going on and what everything is meaning. In the email, it said something about contacting my state's representatives and senators. I really don't know what any of this means.

As far as I know, tsc is still starting chick days on time

What I saw on facebook is that they (USPS) are not flying live animals. (Which obviously includes chicks) No idea why, I did see that at least one hatchery is trying to fight it. I didn't pay that much attention and didn't read any comments since it doesn't effect me.

I received that same email from Murry McMurry's. I don't have chick's on order right now from anywhere, and am planning to start my own hatch going on Saturday. I'm in Arizona with no snow in my area.

Even if I could find it again (it has been a couple of days) A link won't help since it was on private groups.
