I always follow tracking, and call the PO the AM it says they have them, before they go on the truck. The last ones said "out for delivery" by the time I called, but they still had them & held them for me to pick up, rather than their riding around a rural route all day. Our regular carrier is awesome, & makes sure to call me, but the subs have put them on the back of the car in the driveway in the hot sun, when the door is only another few steps.
The last ones were the best packed so far; bubble wrapped & in a Jumbo egg size styrofoam carton, with balled up newspaper all around the cartons in the box (8 eggs in the middle section of each carton.. nice to pay for 12 & get 16!). (although the bubble wrap smelled like cigarettes... people who smoke prolly have no idea how it clings to stuff)
