I tried but didn't have any luck this time around so no idea on sex at this point.....
Tried to introduce Twinkle To the baby and she was not impressed at all....
It's picture day! I also have a roo that needs to go. This is an olive egger, only NOT, a girl! I kept it with fingers crossed, guess I should have crossed my toes too. :/
So, Lisa is coming up this way a bit, if anyone wants this baby boy, I can meet at Winco again, then maybe meet Lisa somewhere up north. Also, I have my RIR's. And, the Nankin, and, a little black australorp mix baby...
Here's the bigger boy..put him with a blue egg layer, should
come out quite olive, right? He came from an olive egg, but
not as dark as what I want. Very sweet, he comes up to me
to get the food right out of my hand..and Mr. Piggy!
Look at those legs!! And feet!
He's free! Going to post a different post with the other babies.
Thought I would ad. He's been outside with a lamp, but he and his
friend have been staying away from it, so he will do well in a larger
coop now.
My RIR's and the black baby, and nankin I am going to keep two RIR's so, 3 can go. I have someone that wants a roo.
These are free too, to my people on here. I only paid 5.00
for the eggs, and I will get two of them to keep. Gary..you know
you want a RIR or two!
The boy poking his head up looks like a maran, but he is an
Australorp and sex link mix. There is the Nankin beside him.
See, no tail on the one on the left, and there is a tail on the one
on the right. I will keep "her". The Nankin again, to the left
of the black on the left. Still small, I think those RIR's are going
to catch up to her soon! Or him..that one I am not real sure on.
Here are my cuties. Well only 4 of them. The one you kinda see with the little white boot on one of her feet won't pull it's leg out straight and it won't walk on it. I'm not sure what to do. It keeps it tucked up under her/ him.
My order for Mcmurray hatchery will come Feb 4. I have ordered all pullets. I will have some extra Mottled Houdans and some Crevecoeurs and Dominiques. Let me know if anyone is interested. I let the chickens out for a run today they were so happy. I have one black Americana Rooster available. hes free if anyone wants him. He isn't crowing yet,

I had an old time poultry breeder that as soon as the chicks hatch he puts them on Hay, They can eat it and it gives great traction and helps eliminate leg problems. Just a thought, Are these polish or silkies
Aw Hattie I hope you can find a way to help the little guy out!
My eggs are due tomorrow night at 7 pm. I have two out already ? 2 more pipped. All FBCM so far. I had not planned on being up all night until tomorrow.:/
