Cyndi, if I were that poor girl I would be throwing shavings on my back tooI have had feather pickers do damage, it is usually more down by the tail though, or they pick at the muffs on my Ameraucanas. I have a few bald muffed Ameraucanas due to an overzealous grooming habit by on of my EE, she cleans their faces when they eat, and picks the crumbles off, takes a little fluff with it while she is at it. It is so funny they just stand their with their "chin" up, waiting for her to finish. Have a backbone girls, put your foot down! They look pretty scroungy I hope now that I am out there more I can get her to stop it, or she will have to go, she is making the poofies look ugly.![]()
Sundance, the splash hen is sooooooo gorgeous, she is even prettier in person than the pics.
