Utah!

If the pepper doesn't work Shipnx, then try the Wazine. That's what I started with last fall, then you go to Valbazin. I will try and find some posts on worms. I really freaked out when I saw one in my coop, can't imagine having one poop it in front of you. Eek..;/ And yes, the whole flock needs to be treated.

silly, wish you could tell me that lavender is a girl. :)) \

Here are a couple of pictures of Brandi and her baby boy Payton Zachery Moore..Zac, on his blessing day. My DH blessed him at our home. It was neat.

Loved his little hat. :)

Got a great big hug from Brandi, and she wanted a picture. She's a cutie. Zac's a dolly baby.

Dad and all of his boys. :)

Sphinx, this is from Dawg53...

Dosage is one ounce of wazine per gallon of water for 24 hours. Set it out before letting your birds out from their coop in the morning. They will be thirsty and drink the treated water. Dispose of the mixture 24 hours later.
Instead of dosing with Wormguardplus, I recommend that you dose your birds 10 days later with valbazen liquid cattle/sheep wormer or safeguard liquid goat wormer. Dosage for either product is 1/2cc given orally undiluted to each chicken.

Cynthia, thank you so much for all of the sleuthing. I read Dawg53's posts on it. I hate his method because I'm looking at tossing my eggs for 24 days. AND figuring out dosing for 30+ birds of varying sizes. UGH. If I go the chemical route, I'm tempted to get the Rooster Booster that you add to the feed. Several people on here said it worked, and there's no tossing of eggs. But, part of me really trusts Dawg's advice.

Ok, now you need to show me the Rooster Booster ~ ?

That cake is awesome! Some 3-yr-old is very lucky.

Sphinx, I also feed my chickens whole pumpkins, where available. Birdman once mentioned that the raw seeds are a natural de-wormer, and I have yet to have any problems with worms (knock on wood)

I had one of my Icelandic chicks, Ike, jump up on my leg today while I was reaching into the run for feeding. He has been letting me pick him up and love him lately, so I carried him around with me for a minute while I did chores. He's the cutest little guy.

Lisa, here are a couple of pics of the juvenile that I'm questioning the gender on. Could be a boy, but the longer time goes on, the more I look at it and wonder, "Girl?"

They aren't the best pics, I know. This one is very shy of people and can move pretty quickly. In the second pic, that red chicken on the top left is the brother that hatched out at the same time.

she's pretty. Would be great if its a she. I love when you have a chicken that is sweet like that. I miss my Reba I got from cynthia. Hopefully one day I will have another. Good pictures though.

Good news. Its not my little splash thats crowing, its the other silkie that i allready knew was a rooster. Still not sure about the splash. Its smaller then the rooster but is the boss of the 2. They are always together.
