Well now since we know they are fertile for sure, I almost wish I had an incubator to see what they would look like. Crap, now I'm going to have to buy one and try it out. I for sure can't have anymore chickens. I have 18, and I've already thought about which 3 will now most likely 4 with the Roo will have to find a new home in the Spring. 18 is way over my limit.
Most likely will be getting rid of my Sussex, Light Brahma, and sorry to say it Brian, but your NN. That chicken hates me. She's totally fine with my kids, but she attacks the crap out of me, every time I go out there, she's attacking me. Don't know why, but man can she get you. Maybe that is the Roo, for a NN, her neck is bright red most of the time, like a turkey bright red, and the top head feathers are so much different then my laying NN. And my Laying NN doesn't have a bright red neck at all, and is so very sweet. Hmmmm… I might have to go look up some NN Roo photo's.
