Utah!

Great, now I am looking at Salmon Faverolle eggs on auction. Thanks Cynthia. Lol

She's my bantam faverolle..that I had. She was a great mama. The LF are pretty too.

I have two little lonely Barred Rock eggs in lock down right now.
And, I have NN's in the bator, and some random others. I also have more NN's on the way. I lost a Mottled one..Man, I want a mottled one for some reason. Oh, and I have three of the 4 Silkie eggs that the gal sent to me after having had a bad batch from her. That little blue Silkie that did hatch, is teensy. I hope I get a white again. Will keep a white for a while.
My cockeral is getting big. He seems so sweet so far. I hope he stays that way. He was afraid to come around me at first when I started letting him out to free range, but now, he comes right up to me..he knows when I have the food. The pullet RIR is still shying away. I hope he doesn't crow for a while, I don't think the collar would fit yet. Have you had a chance to try the collars? Hope it's good news.

I have not found Mr. Right Rooster just yet, but I am excited to get one and try the collars. I have 4 collars (why?) so I am feeling the optimism flowing in abundance that they will work!

sphinx, sorry about your hen. It's sad to lose one. I remember losing my white NN that was soo close to laying winter before last. No fun for sure.

red..glad they got things under control out your way. Too much these days..too much. :/

If that eensy weensie blue silkie ends up being a pretty boy, well....call me!

(You are having so much fun hatching! I might need to make a trip to your house. I am selling my NN. I want another one, but just not orange).

Really? I will, for sure. :) He's in the photo I posted in the group shot of the ones I got at Cal Ranch, and the ones I hatched. He's the tiny blue on the left. Oh, did I say he? lol..I want a white so bad. I'll post a photo of one of her dark blues. Soo pretty.

The little one I have has a pretty nice little beard going on already.

Cynthia I would love to do an Easter Hatch just for fun. So I just need to find some eggs, and I will do one with you. I can't do a St. Patty's even though that would be fun since that is actually my daughters birthday. But I'm going to Vegas for 3 days with Girl Scouts, and I highly doubt my husband will babysit the eggs in the incubator. As it is, I'm worried about the chicks. I got one of those chick water bottle thing that has the water nipple on the side. I'm praying that they figure it out in the next week so I don't have to worry about them having mucky water, because my husband probably won't change it out 3 or 4 times a day like I do.

Karen, I do the Easter Hatch A Long on BYC here. It's crazy fun. They have games, they have prizes. I won a really cute rooster cup one year. There are oodles of people, you can't keep up with it at times, but you seem to find a few that you click with, and go with them. Always an answer to a question while incubating. Great help on the site. Conversation can be all about the hatch a long, or something else completely. It's fun. :) I already have some eggs paid for from someone here on BYC. Also, someone that is giving me free eggs because of a bunch that were out for a full week. Out of 4 doz, yep, 4 doz. for the New Years Day Hatch A Long..only one developed, and then it didn't make it through lock down. It was really cold then too. So 7 days out in that cold wasn't good. She said she would get me some for the Easter Hatch A Long. You should give it a try. It isn't until April 20th this year.

If you get one to crow first, let me know..if mine crows first, I'll let you know. :)
