Oh..thank you..I didn't see that, but that is a chart that I have been studying! Thank you. Had one gal that hatches ducks, saw the photo and says..those eggs are VERY close to hatching! Get the humidity up to 70%. Oh wow. Says to watch for rocking and pips. Yep.

Ducklings are on my "someday" list! I hope everything goes well!

I would love to have ducks. But not for my back yard. If I get a good hatch for these folks, I think I'll ask for one or two, I know of a friend that would just love to have one or two. Remember Hector?

I went out and checked on the broody hens with the chicks and they had gave up on the eggs. I don't know how long they were off of them but i put them under another silkie that is broody, except i didn't mark them and now there is a new bantam egg under her. I will check them tonight and see if i can see any movement in them. but i wanted to show the proud new hens and their joint effort in hatching 3 chicks. 2 look like Silkies but not sure on the other. When the rooster is a Silkie all the chicks hatch out looking like one. Dont mind my frizzle i know she looks bad. I dont know if its broody stress, but i think she is molting. her wing feathers look like sticks pocking out.

your frizzle looks good compared to mine. Mines bald in huge spots.

so, I ended up with 3 roos (sadly) and they're going to a new home, so I talked my hubby into letting me get 2 new chicks I just ended up with a golden sexlink and a black sexlink, but the kids are so excited
