Diana, that little legbar mix of mine has feathered legs. Who has feathered legs over there? I think it's a girl!!
She looks like this one on the left, but has feathered legs, and has a long beak. Can't see the beak on these, but min

I would not recommend putting just one in the coupe. KIts better to have two so one does not get picked on, I have an americana mix and a cream legbar mix that are both pullets

right, it would be going in with all of them.... there will be 2, 6 week olds, and there are 3 that are about 12 - 16 weeks old.

Sundance, how old are yours?

oh, and let me guess.... the white one is the one that you say 'acts a little like' a rooster. for some reason it seems to be glaring in some of the pics ;)

and goodness... I've been out in the sun too much lately... when I said my first bunch was around the last week of may, I meant march, however, these cuties are nearly the same age as my current littles! :D they'd fit perfectly! :D

Yup the darker one I am sure is a girl. The white one I thought was--the others that hatched with these were really obviously roosters...this one was much more girlie than those, but this one has a taller stance and when compared to the dark one I would choose the dark one as being a for sure girl and the white one as an unknown. Never acted boyish...but just the stance, and a tiny bit of pink starting, the darker one looks all peachy still. The others that were rehomed were red on the comb though and had wattles coming down, and they were from the same hatch/same age so just not sure what to think of that white one. It has a different mom, a Turken, so that might be why. The other one has an EE mom. These are from Sundance's eggs, from the frizzled roo, these just did not frizzle, that is why I am not keeping them

totally makes sense then if the mom was a turken ;) just a different stance ;)

Thanks for offering your chickens Sundance, I think I've got it figured out getting these from Lisa. I really do appreciate it!
