Utah!

@Cynthia12

Well… I am from up here in Cache Valley, near Lisa just west across the valley, all of my days. I suppose it shows that I don't get out much. But I've been to Spanish Fork a time or two in the past. Lately it has just been a drive by visit on my way to Moab and such points south.

I had a friend in Springville (Art City) when I was in my teens, and know my way somewhat around Spanish Fork, Salem, Goshen and other points of general local interest as well.

Ok, where is his eye? I have looked and looked. Ha..I even had to look to see which way his toes were facing to be able to tell front from back. lol..eyes?
Hahaha! I should have made myself more clear. He has the sweetest, biggest eyes I have ever seen on a chicken!!

Ooo, Lisa, I need a LF blue in my yard. I am loving the one I got from Diane, but not sure it will be LF? I can't get just one though, I need a couple, because I have no chicks hatching to put with them. Hope you get lots of girls! Maybe a black and a blue. :) They will go with the ones out there that I hatched a couple of weeks ago eventually. Close enough they should do fine. I am watching the cutest white non NN girl and I am keeping a frizzle polish mix too. It will be with my Silkie. Best buds during the winter. I think the non NN will get large. Looking like a girl. :)

Here are some more pics. I made it back just before dark, they are not the best, but they work :D

Ok Here is Ernie, see those bedroom eyes of his?

Then Yoshi, the roo I got from Cynthia. These pics don't do him any justice, he is gorgeous, but so dark I needed more light to take better pics of him.

See the silver around his neck? So pretty.,

These guys still go in the baby pen to sleep at night, I wish I could get t hem to go in the henhouse so I could take the pen out of the run, but they yell till all hours of the night if I take it out. Kinda big for that...big babies.

Oh Erine does have great eyes. He has what I call sweet eyes. My Gladys, the Buff NN has sweet eyes. They look kind. He is cute. Who are you breeding him with?

You also have a very nice looking flock there Lisa. I love the EE and frizzle NN. Paint? Wow.
That boy you got from me is getting handsome! It will be interesting to see what that silver around the neck does, and if any more shows up on the body later. I love it in a Silkie when the legs are short .. so the feathering meets the body real well. Looks like that's what this guys does.

Cynthia--He really is so very perfect for breeding, I cannot wait to get some babies from him. Right now Ernie is in the Silkie/SG pen, I am getting ready to set eggs from him and the girls....both roos are in there but Yoshi is not mating them yet. The boys sleep together in the nest box, they get along splendidly so far so it is working. Then I will put Yoshi (your black roo) with them by himself to get some birds started for my next generation of breeding, hoping to get some nice babies for next year to start with!

Iluv---here are pics of the partridge. I really love this one, it is getting nicer each day :D I am still having a little talk with myself to decide if I should keep it for breeding, it did not have the round bulb on the head as a baby, but I think it will get a nice crest, I might wait a little bit longer to see if I can use it for next years breeding. It has perfect toes too! If you like the color, I promise you first dibs if I do sell her (it) ok :D

Yes, that is poop on the wall....how does it get that high? Poop jumpers, Haha :D These guys are a little skittish for sure, I think it is becuase I have quail in with them. I am raising them all on unmedicated turkey grower until I get the quail out of there, so they are gonna be fat little chicks! :p

Oh my goodness she/he is adorable, and yes I LOVE the color. That's the color im hoping to find! If it helps you in deciding at all, me and my daughter are very involved in the chickens together. They have a huge covered run and a nice big coop being built right now. Her and I go out and hold, and play with them everyday. She's in love with the chickies lol. Yes please let me know if you'll decide to sell her, and if she is indeed a girl then I definitely want her. And i'll pay whatever you want for her to since I am looking for very specific colors :)
Oh and did I read right that you were interested in splash? If so I have a nice looking splash (probably roo) thats 6.5wks old and looking pretty nice to if you want him you can have him :) Nice coloring, thick boots, vaulted head with crest starting to come in.

This is the little Splash (I'm thinking Roo). It's getting more and more fluffy every week is seems. The crest just started coming in and I think it'll get thicker. The feet are looking pretty nice so far to. It's already showing splashes & will just get prettier im sure. It's yours if you want it Lisa.

Thank you so much for offering that cutie up to me! I am in need of no more boys now though, I have my blue and black boys so they can make splash /blue and black babies :D And a spare partridge silkie roo! If I put anymore roosters out there my neighbors will hate me so much worse  Yes I will let you know if that little one leaves my place you will be the next stop. I should not have kept it so long, sheesh it is harder to rehome them the older they get! Cynthia, a blue and black yes! Will let you know what I end up with.
