Here's my random tip for the day, for all else: Don't ever get body slammed by a horse. It hurts.w
Gosh, hope you're ok!

I had a senior horse go down by my front entry. I was on the steps above him (thought in a safe place), had a rope in one hand, the vet on the phone with the other and he gave it his all and used me as leverage (with his neck/chest) to get up. Slammed me into wood railing and cracked some ribs. I was so glad he got up I didn't care.

Weird thing is, that railing should have broke. It wiggled before, so I'm pretty sure something divine saved my life.

Us horse owners have it tough sometimes! Either a horse is hurt or us at least once a year....no matter how careful, safe, cautious one is.

I have puppy class in West Jordan from 7-8pm and I can get them and bring them down to Orem for her on Thursday since Wed night might be too late.  I could pick them up from someone in Salt Lake.

This may work. Our concert gates open at 6---if anyone close to West Jordan could take them before 6 and Silly could pick them up from you after puppy class after 8 pm? Anybody want to chicken sit for a couple hours?

We are headed out West of West Valley, so anyone right around there would be awesome too. Red you shouldn't have moved LOL.

Sundance, you are kind of close to there, will you be home Wed night? Can't think of anyone else I have been to in that area.

My broody breaker, with a broody girl in there. :D Some of the chickens make a quick stop by to take a look in..but one of the leghorns, the mama that just got over being mama..looks in there, and stares. Sometimes she talks and talks to that cage. Wondering what in the world? Too funny.

Under the apple trees.

I will actually be at the West Jordan Armory, So I'm clear out by the airport. But I can come back and meet someone just about anywhere in Salt Lake in the area or going back to Utah County. I have class from 7-7:50pm, but usually don't make it out of there till about 8pm.

Gary, I'm glad you got a few Silkie eggs, I felt bad after reading that, that I had 4. Thanks again. So far so good. She is proudly sitting on them.

My Missy, due on the next Tues. Could have them anytime from Fri. on and be fine.

I ask her if she wants an apple treat, she tilts her head. I buy the cheap bagged apples
just for her. She loves apples.

So, I take it that there are a lot of silkies babies on the way? Or are you guys setting other eggs under broody silkies? Babies. I miss them. But on the other hand..I don't miss the babies in the house.
My room is cute again! Bought a new bedspread. There is room in there, I can walk around. lol

Liz is setting 30+ of my silkie SG eggs for me, I am going to be out of town so she is the bator sitter! Woot! Thanks Liz!

Silly--so you are coming up from UT county, to the airport, then back to UT county, right? Is Taylorsville on your way home at all if I get ahold of Sundance? Can you think of anybody else that is on both of our routes if she is not able to do it? I am coming down from Logan through SLC, then out West to the edge of West Valley City, and can take any small detours along the way. Thank you so much for helping out! Cynthia and I are at the opposite ends of the world LOL
