Had a hawk scare the other day. I went out just in time. I was facing away from the house, looking at my little ones in the grow out pen. I turned just in time to see a hawk..a huge one..come over the front yard apple tree. That bird had to have been circling and watching. They are always up high. Well, it got a surprise by the time it cleared that tree..there I was. My brain clicked in pretty quick. I hurried a few steps forward with my arms up yelling and waving. It had it's head cocked sideways..lol..almost to say..hey, where did you come from..it hurried and swooped up and over the neighbors tree. I swear, it was only about 6 or 7 ft. above my head. It wasn't flying fast, it had it's mind set on getting to the ground and swooping up one of my girls. Glad I was out when I was.

Haha they rarely would wake me up, even with all their racket. I love magpies. They remind me of summertime as a kid
I know my dad hates them with a passion, though. I just croak back at them to see what funny looks I get.Cynthia, scary! I'm sure we have no shortage of BOP here, but the roosters seem to be pretty vigilant.

I have my girls some frozen peas yesterday for a cool treat. They didn't know what to do with them. Goofballs.

she is beautiful, Her mom died a couple of days ago due to the heat, I felt pretty bad
Oh! I am so glad you posted this. I have a white baby out there that is probably going to look like this. She ..pretty sure now is a she..is also a non NN. Frizzling right out there. Awww. she is going to be pretty. Also came from Diane.

Had a white NN that was getting frizzled..but it was a boy. Went to a friend.

I am headed to SLC, to the USANA ampitheater to be specific Wed night. I have two chicks for Cynthia in Spanish Fork. Anybody around SLC going to Provo/Orem after Wed that be willing to babysit/transport these to Cynthia if I could meet you or drop them off on our way? I have quail eggs too if anyone wants them for hatching.

I may be going as far as Thanksgiving Point on Wednesday.... Actually, if anyone was going on Monday (tomorrow), I will be as far as Plain City tomorrow evening, and could get them from Plain City to Cynthia then... if that works.

I have puppy class in West Jordan from 7-8pm and I can get them and bring them down to Orem for her on Thursday since Wed night might be too late. I could pick them up from someone in Salt Lake.
