Utah!

FYI--I got an email that CAL ranch in Logan has 10% everything in the store at 4 pm today. Hope that applies to shavings and feed, I am going to stock up. Their feed has been 13.99 already, pretty decent price. Not sure about the other locations for you folks south of me, but worth checking into!

Put all my shizzle chicks out in the run today, no more birds in my garage, yay! Everybody was surprisingly nice out there, I hope the peace stays throughout the day.
SUNDANCE--there are pics of Ernie at the end, he is so pretty :D All his feathers are back on his feet.

That
Yeah @RJSorensen submitted it  I believe it's RC (Rooster Cogburn)

(I haven't seen the calendar, but I remember him saying that his was selected)
that's awesome that his was chosen!

Also, If anyone would like some free cross breed hatching eggs, hit me up! I have been getting lots of extras.

I, too, would like to know how RJ is doing :( Maybe I will have to buy a calendar.

Lisa, Matilda is adorable! That's the name I had picked out for a Royal Palm (black and white) turkey hen if I ever got one. And Ernie is sure handsome!

So, not chicken news, but I still wanted to share. One of my grandmothers was a big time garden buff, and now that she's passed, my aunt has her house. There's a massive old mulberry tree there that never really fruits anymore. Long story short, it dropped a small cluster of berries from one tiny branch this summer when DH and I were over for a BBQ. I collected a few seeds and have two of them soaking, currently. One sprouted!! I'm so excited! Usually seeds like that need a few months of cold before they'll sprout. What a special gift to have a sprout from my grandmother's tree :) I hope I don't kill it - it's tiny!
