Lisa, Matilda is adorable! That's the name I had picked out for a Royal Palm (black and white) turkey hen if I ever got one. And Ernie is sure handsome!
So, not chicken news, but I still wanted to share. One of my grandmothers was a big time garden buff, and now that she's passed, my aunt has her house. There's a massive old mulberry tree there that never really fruits anymore. Long story short, it dropped a small cluster of berries from one tiny branch this summer when DH and I were over for a BBQ. I collected a few seeds and have two of them soaking, currently. One sprouted!! I'm so excited! Usually seeds like that need a few months of cold before they'll sprout. What a special gift to have a sprout from my grandmother's tree

I hope I don't kill it - it's tiny!
