Utah!

Super cute!
Aww, I had a pony named Lulu when I was about 10 or so.
She was an ill tempered lil cuss. Tossed me twice and kept breaking out of her stall & running over to the neighbours. I was the only one who could get her back. She didn't like anybody very much LOL

Thank you for that job information. I will look into it. I've heard and seen that there are a lot of scams out there, so that's partially why I figured I would ask this nice community of people on byc

. I'm very sorry to hear about your chickens. That's so sad.
I have also worked for O'currance. A long time ago now. they think they own your life and schedule but all employers think they own your life now a days. They require some time in office, mostly for training I think. then you can work from home. A tip here. they used to have you fill out an "availability" sheet. if you mark the weekends as unavailable you are MUCH less likely to be hired. They didnt hire anyone that would not work weekends when I worked there. Also, just because you marked an area as unavailable (like if your a student and need to go to class) they are still likely to schedule you in that time slot. Maybe things are different now
Jet blue is another good one, I have not worked for them but had a friend or two that did. Good luck.

Our little brood consists of two Australorps, a Favorelles, a bantam Frizzle, and a bantam mongrel (supposed to be an EE, but it's probably a lie). I think the Frizzle would be fine, she's only about half the size of the normal size chicks and is the most developed of all of them. It's just this tiny mutt. Half the size of the Frizzle.

How do you like your Icelandic?
I think we need some pictures of this tiny baby. I bet she's adorable.

I love my Icelandic. I almost forget about her because she takes care of herself so well. She looks very similar to my brown Leghorns. I had another, but my neighbors cat got him when he strayed to their yard :(

I'm considering getting a few bantam size chickens. If you were going to get a roo and two hens and it were your only bantams, what would you get?

Keeping in mind I would love some cute eggs to feed the kids and would love to have a few crazy looking chickens around.

Gating factor: Would my LF beat up on them?

So remember that silvery yellow chick we hatched out recently? The babe is feathering out white, with just a fkeck of black in one place. Came from a brown egg. I had discounted our light Brahma as being the chick's mother because the chick has clean legs, and a straight comb. The Brahma is my only white hen, and lays brow eggs. What do you think the chances are to have a white, straight combed baby, with clean legs? Or is it more likely the baby is a result of some long forgotten genes from a gold sexlink mother?

I hear they have bantam Wyandotte's. :) That would be fun having them run a round with your standard Wyandotte's. Ha ha ha

I'm thinking my adorable tiny she is actually a he. CURSES!!! I already got rid of the other 3 because I they were mean or cockerels (my favorite was boy, why?!)
I'll go and take some pictures in just a moment.

Sad. I wasn't sure how gentle they would be since they kind of take care of themselves and are on their own in their native country.

If I were to get all bantams, I would get... A barred rock bantam hen, an easter egger hen, and a frizzle roo... Because I like them different!
Also,I haven't had any issues with my bantams being picked on. They're a feisty bunch, when I had all four I had two that would pick on my big chicks.

I would guess sexlink since feathered shanks is dominant right? But my understanding of genetics is 101. You never know if it's something hiding in the Brahma. Do you know its pedigree?

I hear they have bantam Wyandotte's.

I do like a variety. Maybe I hatch a batch of each and keep the ones I like. Good reason to hatch..... more.
