Utah!

Hi! I just moved to St. George. We lived in Pahrump, NV and have only been here for about a month! I brought 5 baby chicks with me 2 speckled Sussex mix girls and 2 unsexed polish Bantams. I live near Sunset. Any other bird nerds in my area?

Hi I'm fairly new I joined in April. I live in a tiny town called Central, Utah. It's near Pinevalley, between St. George and Enterprise. The road you turn on to go to Pine valley, that town right there is central.

I think I've gotten in over my head. I have 1 yr old chicken, 22 3 month olds, 9 3-4 week olds, 2 ducks and 2 turkeys that are 6-7 weeks.

I went a little crazy. Now I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all the eggs, let alone what to do with the ducks if both are or the turkeys are both male. I have never killed anything in my life and cannot see me doing it anytime in the future. :he

I'll butcher any birds you need done for a small fee per bird. We just moved to St. George about a month ago. I had to butcher my broilers before we left, but we now have 30+ pounds of delicious fresh homegrown chicken in the freezer!

A chicken train is where one BYC member is going to another part of the state and can drop off or pick up chickens for another member.  I posted be cause I live in Taylorsville that in the salt lake valley and am going to and from Logan

Thank you for that information. I'm new to chickens and terminology. I live near St George.
