Utah!

I'm assuming the white gown means your daughter went to skyview? awesome! My blue robe was okay, but I was a little envious of the white yesterday!

Sierra.

Yep, She went to sky View. Congrats to you!

Lisa, She moved next door a few years ago and lives with my Parents. Thankfully they live right next door. She has done really well. Even has a full time job and bought her first car a few weeks ago. I am very proud of her.
When Grandma asked what she would do with the robe now, she told her she was all set if she ever gets baptized again. LOL Made me laugh, Grandma wasn't sure if it was funny though.
Next year Mike's daughter will graduate!

Oh and I have 3 pips! Hope they make it!

Yay for pips! Everyone one of my chicks that pipped made it except for 1....we didn't realize until it was too late that it had pipped on the side of the egg that was resting on the floor. :( Did you incubate Wyandottes, Cochins or both?

congrats on all the graduations! i had to take a plant into my old high school today to a good friend because she has bees and this is super rare and gets hundreds of blooms and is a perennial

OK, since everyone is getting their Delaware chicks already, I won't order the eggs.

What else could I torture everyone with? Ha!
My daughter's Ancona duck eggs arrived today! She bought 8, 12 came, 1 was badly cracked. Like spider web cracked. :( Bummer. All the rest look dang good with just a couple wonky air cells that really aren't the worst in the world....had that with my doomed Wyandotte bantam eggs.

So we're excited about these duck eggs! Speaking of my daughter, she just graduated HS tonight! (Like that subject transition? haha) I have to brag for just a minute about my beautiful girl. My parents and a brother came out from Wisconsin and I snapped a few pictures of Sierra with her grandma (my mom) before we headed to USU for the graduation ceremony.

First one is out of the egg, making lots of noise...hopefully that will give the others some ideas.
I did both...6 wyandotte and 6 cochin... there were 1 of each that were not fertile.. We checked before lockdown and 4 looked good and 4 were iffy. So I don't expect more than 4. Hopefully they all make it.

My eggs are due this weekend, maybe today. I hope a few hatch at least.
Sasha...Congrats to you and your daughter. My Daughter graduated last night too!

Another cute girlf! Conrats to you too blu...oh wait, there are two cute girls here. :))

Brad, you are a baby, but yes, time goes by fast! Ask me about it. That's neat that you are taking plants for the bees..we need to try and keep our bees around, I heard they are dwindling.

You can be strong. I was this morning when I went to Cal Ranch to get some shavings. There were only three Australorps, but the poor babies all three, had pasty butt! Big dry pasty...what did I do about you ask? No one was around, soooooo.......

There was some hand cleaner sitting right there on top of a big box there, so used some on my hands after I picked the poop off of their poor little bums.

Wow, one of my posts got wiped out. I hope I remember everything it said.

The graduates are beautiful!! Congratulations to you guys. My cousin graduated from Herriman High yesterday too!

Red, are you suuuuuure you don't want a couple roosters? They're awfully cute, even cuter than the last batch I gave you...

Blujems, good luck on the hatch. Your daughter is so beautiful. So you bought the robe? I remember we rented our robes when I graduated. It was much cheaper. I graduated from West Jordan High, so it was a pale blue.

Cynthia, good for you for fixing the pasty bum!

Sundancenbare, good luck at IFA. I couldn't resist yesterday when they had chicks that COULD go outside, and were within a day of one of my batches. Dangerous place. I actually bought my chick from a local company, but feed stores are very dangerous this time of year.

My friend has a speckled, and she showed me an egg last year. It was so small that it talked me out of getting one for a solid year. But, at this point, i figure I'll have 15+ laying hens sooner or later, so it's ok if one is smaller eggs.
