What fun pics of all the graduates, congrats you guys!!

Bluejems, what color are your Wyandottes supposed to be (maybe I shouldn't ask=)

Casa, my chickies were getting their wing feathers Wednesday, I need to go look again, but I think it was in a line, not just on the tips.... I'll try and post a pic if you can see it...

Not sure, they are bantam wyandottes...There are pics on my profile page. (can't figure out how to link at the moment.)

There are 2 wyandottes out...waiting on the cochin.

I have a rooster looking for a home, too. Posted him on KSL for $5 but no bites. So he's free now. Whatever his new owner wants to do with him, I just want him to be treated as humanely as possible, if you catch my drift. ;) He's a handsome boy, you can't tell in these pics but his copper colored feathers glow in the sun. :) Bantam EE. I think the bantam EE pullet is going to a new home this afternoon.
My family is going to the Golden Spike tomorrow so I can bring him over the mountain into Brigham if anybody's interested.

He was a good looking rooster but he is now gone. Gonna hang out with a bunch of Sussex just down the road a piece. (whatever that means)

Oh, that's great news, trex! He is a very handsome boy.

Gooooooo blujem's cochin!!!

Here's a close up of the toes. I'm afraid I may have to treat it, and I'm terrified.

Ok, at first I was thinking, give it a few days, but yeah, they need a tape job. I use electrical tape. I know, not the typical tape, but it goes on easier than any other I've tried, and it comes off easier when it's time to take it off. Just straighten them, tape them. I cut the tape in half strips. I make it long enough to pinch a good piece around to the started piece. Hope I'm making sense. Looks like the left foot is worse. Now is the best time, as I'm sure you know..while they are rubbery. :) A couple of days, and they should look pretty good.

Well, I promise I didn't do this on purpose!!! I promise! I went to the neighbors that are moving, and need to place their chickens. Remember when I posted that picture of the Deleware and said I had one once? Well, this one is a sister to it. They kept theirs. She's around 18 months old, so will only keep her a while. Should be laying pretty good. Boss lady! Already. She is a big bird! Like the BO's and Partridges. Anyway, here she is. Very pretty girl. I hatched her out btw. Then the neighbors got one of the many that hatched. Now I have her back. For a while. :)

She looks onery here! Don't mess with her. She doesn't like to be near people.
Very pretty. My NH on the left, my Speckled Sussex on the left. I love my Henny Penny..sussex. The NH's name..Maggie
I didn't ask what her name was! She needs a name..hmmm...?
Cute wattles. Like I said, I hadn't planned on coming home with her, I wanted their red sexlink, but a dog got into
their pen the other night, killed two of their chickens. The sexlink got hurt, but is mending. I thought I better not
take her when I saw the sore. My chickens would have gone right after that. My leghorn and my red sexlink both
went after this one, but, she's bigger! And, she knew it! I hope she lays. She should. She is in her prime time
right now.

Oh, she is so beautiful, Cynthia. I would've had to have taken her too.

Ok, I taped her left foot. I decided the right wasn't bad enough to really worry about. She is maaaaad at me. Hopefully I did it right. It's tough to do alone, and I was too impatient to wait for dh to get home to help.

Well we have the 2 out now...Well out of the eggs anyway.
So cute and tiny...still waiting on the little cochin
Here is #1

And #2

You made a boot! That works. I usually just tape one toe at a time. I want to see those toes in a few days. That's one of the best looking booties I've seen in a long time! Ahem, no pun intended.
