Utah!

I agree Brad. If anyone would know, it's bird man.   Explain how you would do this, because I have had some that looked like they were getting close, and I thought, oh no, I wonder how I am going to trim that!  Then it stopped growing longer..thank heavens, and the chicken ate fine.

x2! i did not even know you had to do this sometimes, so it would be good to know, can you do it yourself or does a vet need to do it?

Sundance LOVE your d' uccle Mille Fleur! Love love love love her. You have lots of pretty gals! Thanks for sharing! If you ever sell her call me first

Thanks for the visit and the treats today! I was really glad to have you stop over, sorry it got kind of crazy there at the end, the kids make it hard to visit much during the day.
It had been too long since we visited, so I'm happy we were able to do it yesterday, even if it wasn't as long as we'd have liked.

So I've been looking at these polish babies, and looking at some online, and the one we think may be a blue, I think may actually be a cuckoo! I'll get pictures posted later so everyone can see and take a guess.

I sold the 3 Wyandotte bantam chicks this morning to a man from Logan who raises Wyandotte bantams. He thought he was the only one in the area that had them! There was no doubt about it that Aaron is a boy, but the other two, Raji and Nona (for No Name, haha) I decided are girls. Their wing and tail feathers were so far advanced this morning compared to Aaron's. :)

Sasha, you guys are both very good looking and look way too young to have a kid graduating high school.

TRex, I haven't heard the UGLY joke in years. Yep. Still funny.

Lisa, hope your little guy's foot heals up ok. I think at this point, you've done all you can to give him/her a fighting chance. My chick's toes aren't perfect, but I did see an improvement, and I think they're "good enough". I'd love to hear you guys' thoughts though.

For reference, here was before:

Oh, I wasn't clear if opinions were being requested. If so, on the second candled egg, I think that is definitely good, but early in.
If it were me, I'd tape them for another week or so. They do look better, though!

I have a better idea. Does anyone have a Rosster Duncle? We could breed them and hatch the eggs. I'll share FYI I have two of them. Honey and Chrissy. I bought them at the chicken show in March that was in farmington. They were a 4 h project and the girl was from Kingman Arizona. She had a Trio but I couldn't buy the rooster. Since Mille Fleur stands for Many Flowers she named them Honey for Honeysuckle and Chrissy for Chrisanthamum.

Breeding and eggs = fun. That would be awesome! The one you posted is gorgeous. I LOVE her.
